June Launch Party
The Bank of Alameda’s luxurious new Oakland location near Lake Merritt was the setting for Oakland Magazine’s June launch party on June 4. The event celebrated the magazine’s Best of Oakland and the East Bay issue, which included the results of the annual readers’ poll as well as a wide range of editors’ choice picks. General categories in the poll included everything from restaurants, drink and sports to goods and lifestyle. More than 250 guests enjoyed cuisine by Wild Thyme Catering, signature Hefeweizen by Pyramid Alehouse, wines by Rosenblum Cellars and live music by guitarist Terrence Brewer.
