A Standing Ovation
Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi, Dimensions Dance Theater co-founder Deborah Vaughan and the late health pioneer Alta Alice Miner Bates were among the seven Alameda County women honored at the 13th Annual Women's Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony at the Fremont Marriott on March 18. Sponsored by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, the Commission on the Status of Women and the Alameda County Health Care Foundation, the ceremony offered family, friends and co-workers a chance to applaud the inductees' hard work and dedication.
