Holiday ParadeDubbed America's children's parade, this seventh annual Dec. 2 event drew crowds of up to 50,000 to watch the 4,000 participants that include marching bands, clowns, floats, a dozen giant balloons and storybook and cartoon characters. The parade benefited the foundations of the Oakland Children's Hospital and Research Center and the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. Photography by Paul Skrentny. |
